ABM supports the Theater-Pedagogic department of the Luisenburg Festival
On Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Luisenburg Festival stage Manfred Dollinger, Managing Director of ABM, presented a check for EURO 750.00 to Michael Lerchenberg, Director of the Luisenburg. Reason for this donation was the honorary engagement in July of Michael Lerchenberg on one of the ABM customer events.
This donation is intended for the theater-pedagogic department of the Luisenburg Festival. This department employs three theater-pedagogic teachers: Nicole Dietz (Department Head), Caroline Nöding (Assistant) and Helena R Radman (intern). Main focus of their work is providing play program attending offerings for students and teachers with the goal to convey the emotion “see and understand theater”. In addition they lead a youth club of the Luisenburg-high school that adapted to the theme of the main play of the Luisenburg (“The Robbers”) their own play.
Immediately after completion of the performance of his year’s children play, “The Robber Hotzenplotz” an interactive, playful wrap-up with focus on the main character, in this case Robber Hotzenplotz will be offered. Additionally, teacher and students workshops are held. These workshops cover aesthetical uniqueness, central plots, themes and motives of each play in a play practical way. Teacher workshops provide “tools of the trade” for educators to teach methods for role playing with students.
"We are excited to do our part to support the goals of theater-pedagogic", says Manfred Dollinger.
