

Control Algorithms
U/f - Control
The U/f mode changes the voltage proportional to the output frequency of the inverter. This mode suits pump and fan motors as well as travel and hoist drive units with limited dynamics. Multi motor operation is also possible with U/f-control.
Sensor-less flux vector control
Based on an internal motor model, the control algorithm calculates the rotor speed and position using actual electrical data. This feedback allows to optimally control the current supply generating the torque. The result is an excellent control behavior even without a costly speed sensor.
Field oriented control
In field oriented control the rotor position and the speed are measured by an encoder. Based on this information the flux and torque creating current will be fed in an optimized position to achieve a maximum in dynamics and true running accuracy.
